Terms and Conditions for Hill Farm CL and caravan site:
Please note that by making a booking at Hill Farm CL and Caravan Site you are legally agreeing to adhere to these Terms & Conditions and are responsible for ensuring that all members of your party abide by them. To avoid disappointment, please check that the site terms and conditions meet your requirements before booking. Particularly, arrival and departure times, quiet policies, change of pitch policy, visitor and multiple booking policies. |

We strongly advise that you take out insurance to ensure that, should you need to change or cancel your holiday during your stay, so that you can recover the associated costs from your insurance provider. |

Your agreement is with Hill Farm CL and its owners and references to 'we', 'us' and 'our' in these terms and conditions are to Hill Farm CL and its owners . |

References to 'you' in these terms and conditions are to you, as the person making this booking and, where applicable, to every member of your party. |

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO OPERATE A QUIET BETWEEN 9PM AND 9AM POLICY |

Despite less Covid 19 at the moment, please still obey social distancing instructions. |
|
To preserve the tranquility of the site we actively operate a strict, quiet between 9pm and 9am policy; during this time other campers should not be able to hear you. Anyone not adhering to this policy or anyone making excessive noise at any time (including noisy dogs/children/music) will be asked to immediately leave the site. No refunds will be given. Music should not be heard at any time. |

For their own safety and to avoid nuisance to others, children under 12 years must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during your stay, this includes toilets and showers. |

Please do not allow children to play around the entrance, toilets, showers abd roadways. To avoid disturbance to other campers or possible damage to caravans, ball games are NOT permitted around the pitches at any time. |
|
Badmintion and swingball may be played on your pitch be-tween 10am-7pm only but please be considerate of your neighbours. Kites or drones should not be flown over the campsite. |
|
A non-refundable deposit of £20 will be required payable by cheque or bank transfer (details for which will be supplied in your booking confirmation email). Please see our cancellation policy below. |

DOGS/CHILDREN/BALL GAMES Quiet, well behaved, dogs are welcome on site but must be kept on a lead in all areas of the campsite. Dogs must be kept under control at all times. Please keep to the paths when walking the dog trails. Please clean up any fouling immediately; numerous dog bins are provided around the site. All dog owners please note that persistent/annoying barking or fouling will not be tolerated. Anyone allowing their dog to bark persistently or failing to clean up behind their dog will be asked to leave the site on that day without a refund. Dogs should not be left unattended or in the care of young children. Please respect your fellow campers’ peace and privacy and ensure that they are not inconvenienced by your noise, children or dogs, or by taking short cuts across their pitch. |

We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage, however caused, to your property or vehicles or any injury to you or your visitors whilst staying on our CL. |
Please observe the site speed limit of 5mph. |
The owner accepts no responsibility for personal injury to guests, or loss of, or damage to their property whilst on site. |
Cancellation Policy |
If we have to cancel your booking prior to your arrival, we will refund you in full. |
Events such as your vehicle breakdown, bad traffic, pet illness, your illness or inclement weather etc which may result in delayed arrival will not lead to any refund. |
Arrival or cancellation of your stay is not the responsibility of Hill Farm CL and caravan site and therefore we advise you to seek appropriate travel insurance, to cover these eventualities. |
If you have to cancel your booking, please do so as early as possible so that we may attempt to re-book your pitch and recover the lost income. Your booking is only cancelled once you have received a confirmation of cancellation email from us. If you email/leave a voicemail to cancel and do not receive a confirmation of cancellation email from us within 48 hours, please contact us again as we have not received your message and you may still be liable for payment. |
By making a booking and paying your deposit you signify your legal agreement with our refund policy. |
Please note: No refunds within 2 days of arrival date. |
· Bookings cannot be amended within 2 day(s) of arrival. |
· The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure. |
· No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, very muddy pitches, late arrivals or early departures. |
· Due to the time involved with making a booking, I am sorry but this is a Non Refundable and Non Transferable £20 Deposit. If this is a problem then please do not make the booking in the first place. |
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY, GROUP BOOKINGS AND DAY VISITORS
Maximum occupancy per pitch is 1 unit accommodating up to 6 people, 3 dogs and 2 cars. This includes day visitors. An awning OR pup tent OR small gazebo may be erected as long as it is totally within the boundaries' of the pitch, including guy ropes. |
No Group bookings. This means no more than 2 pitches can be booked together. |
No unaccompanied groups of people under 21 years old. |
Any groups booking individual pitches will be asked to leave the site without refund. |
Only single unit bookings will be accepted over Bank Holiday weekends Day visitors at management discretion: Maximum pitch occupancy of 6 people and 2 cars including day visitors applies and campsite rules apply to all guests. |
No day visitors where two pitches have been booked together. Visitors must be pre-booked and paid for at reception prior to arrival. |
The campsite is not a suitable venue for parties. Day visitor arrival is between 9am to 5pm only and by prior arrangement. Visitor departures by 8pm. |
PROHIBITED ITEMS |
The following items are not permitted anywhere on the campsite: Drones, Water Bombs, Fireworks and Sky Lanterns. No Charging of electric cars at the pitches, which will lead to an instant and permanent ban from the site. There is a charging point at Darsham Jet Garage 1 mile up the A12. |
BBQ’s and fire pits are allowed on site but for safety reasons must be raised off of the ground; we can provide bricks if required. Please note that foraging is not allowed on site as we are a carefully managed woodland and what may look like an old dead log or a pile or twigs may have been specially placed for woodland management purposes and should not be disturbed. Camp fires are not permitted. |
On or after the intended arrival date no refunds will be made. Similarly, no credit or refund is available for any unused services provided in the cost of your holiday e.g. if you choose to depart early. |
This website and its components are offered for informational purposes only; we shall not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness or availability of any information transmitted or made available via this site and shall not be responsible or liable for any error or omissions in that information. |
We reserve the right to change these conditions from time to time as we see fit and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms. |
All reservations are accepted on the basis that the guest accepts the Booking Terms & Conditions whether they have read them or not. We reserve the right to refuse admission to the site. |
Please note that we do not tolerate any loud, abusive, uncourteous, unflexible, impatient, disrespectful or rude behaviour from any guests or their visitors which will lead to automatic removal and a permanent ban from the site. |
